Date: March 22nd, 2025
Time: 9:00am-12:00pm
Presenter : Molly Rush, LCSW
Time: 3 Hours (pending approval for social work CES)
Description: Burnout is an inescapable concept in the field of mental health and affects us at every organizational and personal level. It is guaranteed that many of the factors contributing to burnout and exhaustion are outside of our personal control. This presentation will explore the common self perceptions among mental health professionals that contribute to burnout. We will explore the unique and individual signs that clue us in to potential burnout characteristics. Instead of one-size-fits-all recommendations for self-care, we will design our personal tool belt for caring for our selves in times of stress and beyond.
Objectives
1. Identify 3-5 common self perceptions which may lead to therapist burnout.
2. Assess signs and symptoms of stress and burnout unique to each participant.
3. Create practical self-care tools that integrate both internal strategies and external resources to support personal well-being
